. Yuyuan Garden, one of the four great gardens in China, shows the prototype of the classical gardens of Suzhou. Suzhou is famous for its over 60 Classical Gardens, collectively a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city has the most UNESCO-recognized gardens in the world.
. Hanshan Temple. Built during the Tianjian era (502–519) of the reign of Emperor Wu of Liang and famous for an old poem in Tang Dynasty, it is where the sound of bells, the lights of passenger ships, and fishing boats are a beautiful sight that tourists flock to see. Hanshan Temple is famed in East Asia because of the poem "A Night Mooring by Maple Bridge" (楓橋夜泊), by Tang dynasty poet, Zhang Ji. The poem describes the melancholy scene of a dejected traveler, moored at night at Fengqiao, hearing the bells of Hanshan Temple.
. Tiger Hill Pagoda is where a white tiger appeared and guarded the tomb according to a legend. Rising to a height of 47 m (154 ft), it has seven stories and is octagonal in plan, and was built with a masonry structure designed to imitate wooden-structured pagodas prevalent at the time. In more than a thousand years the pagoda has gradually slanted due to forces of nature. Now the top and bottom of the tower vary by 2.32 meters.
