Day 1

Incheon, Seoul

  • Arrival at Incheon Airport and meet your tour guide

    . Meeting point will be confirmed later before you fly to Korea

  • Move to Seoul(1 hour ride) and Hotel check-in

Day 2

    Visit Sarangchae at Cheongwadae (the Blue House), where you can see the work place of all-time presidents and learn the traditional culture of Korea

  • Gyeongbokgung Palace

    Visit the Royal Palace of Joseon Dynasty and watch the Changing of the Royal Guard Ceremony

  • Bukchon Hanok Village

    A place full of cultural heritage from the Joseon Dynasty with Hanok(Korean traditional house) village

  • Enjoy your lunch

    Lunch Menu - Ginseng Chicken Soup (Samgye-tang)

  • Insadong Ancient Street

    Walk along the antique street of Insadong where traditional crafts, art works, tea-houses and other various traditional food places have taken place

  • Cheonggyecheon Stream, HiKR Ground

    Stroll on the fresh stream that flows through the city, making it one of the best areas to take a breath in Seoul and visit the HiKR Ground where the various aspects of Korea’s modern and traditional culture are exhibited. You can create your own dance video by dancing to K-pop music.

Day 3

Jeonju

    The South Gate of Jeonju, where you can find Sonyeosang, the "Statue of Peace", symbolizing the victims of sexual slavery by the Japanese military from approx. 1931 until the end of WWII

  • Gyeonggijeon

    The sacred hall where the portrait of King Taejo, founder of the Joseon Dynasty, is enshrined. You'll be able to see portraits of Korea's past monarchs, relics of a bygone era

  • Jeonju Hanok Village

    Around 700 traditional Korean houses, or Hanok, are located in Pungnam-dong and Gy-dong. Here, you'll be able to wander the beautiful Hanok lined streets, boutiques and restaurants that showcase traditional craftmanship and local flavors

  • Jeonju Nambu Traditional Market

    You can explore the vibrant daily life of Jeonju citizens by strolling through the Nambu Market, where you can taste various local foods, unique delicacies, and world-renowned dishes

Day 4

Gyeongju

  • Move To Gyeongju – a UNESCO World Heritage Site

    It takes approximately 2 hours

  • Arrival at Gyeongju and lunch with local food

  • Cheomseongdae Observatory and Daereungwon(Royal Tomb Complex)

    . Visit the astronomy observatory built in the 7th century during Queen Seondeok's reign, and Daereungwon, where the tombs of the royal family of the Silla Dynasty are gathered.

  • Bulguksa Temple

    . A UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site - Founded in 751 during the Unified Silla Dynasty, the temple is a place that embodies the spiritual world of the Silla people who aimed to realize the ideal Buddhist world. Be sure to check out Dabotap Pagoda and Seokgatap Pagoda on the grounds of the temple.

  • Temple stay

    . Temple stay is a cultural experience program for a better understanding of Korean traditional culture and Korean Buddhism. This short temple stay includes a temple tour, Cham-Seon(Seon meditation), Da-Seon(tea ceremony), Balwoogongyang(monastic meal), and Yebool(Buddist chanting). You can also learn many traditional cultures such as Lotus Flower Lantern Making, Ingyeong ( Wood Block Printing from the Tripitaka Koreana ), making temple food, and so on by yourself. The program will give you a new perspective on your life. Try to find your ‘True self’ while staying at a temple.

  • Dinner and conversation with Buddist monks

    . Dinner consists of rice and various vegetables without meat. During the dinner, you will experience and learn about the monks' daily life, dietary patterns, rituals, and learning about Buddha's philosophy.

Day 5

Andong, Chungju, Yangyang

  • Breakfast at the temple

  • Move to Andong

  • Hahoe Folk Village – a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site

    . This quaint village is known around the world for its cultural heritage and importance. Here you'll find Hanoks (traditional Korean houses), and Hahoetal, traditional masks that were used during the harvest ceremony dating back to the 12th century. Hahoe Village became known worldwide after Queen Elizabeth II of England visited in 1999.

  • After lunch, move to Chungju

    . Cruise along Korea's largest man-made lake as you pass by the most beautiful sights in Danyang.

  • Move to Naksansa Temple

  • Overnight stay at the temple, Naksansa

Day 6

Yangyang, Sokcho

  • Breakfast at the temple

  • Daytime temple stay experience

    Take a tour of the temple and experience Cham-Seon(Seon meditation), Da-Seon(tea ceremony), Balwoogongyang(monastic meal), Yebool(Buddist chanting).

  • Lunch and tea ceremony with monks

    . Let's have some free time for relaxation and self-reflection by having free conversations with monks while eating temple food and having tea.

  • Move to Sokcho

    After arriving in Sokcho, enjoy your free time to take a walk along the coastal road surrounding Lotte Hotel and Resort Sokcho and enjoy the beautiful ocean view.

Day 7

Gangneung, Seoul

  • Breakfast at the hotel

  • Gyeongpo Beach

    . Considered one of the most beautiful beaches on the East Coast, this scenic location features pine trees lining the shore, resembling a picturesque painting. The clear water and towering waves contribute to a refreshing atmosphere that can be appreciated simply by gazing at the scenery

     

  • Ojukheon

    . Home of Shin Saimdang, the brilliant female artist and mother of Yee Yee, a great scholar and politician during the Joseon Dynasty. This is also the oldest wooden house that still in existence in Korea

  • After lunch, return to Seoul (3 hour ride)

  • Arrival at SEOUL and end of the tour

- Without prior arrangements, the tour may be cancelled unilaterally and the schedule may change without prior notice due to local circumstances

- The refund dates are based on working days from Monday to Friday, excluding Korean national holidays.
- Please note that if the refund amount must be transferred overseas, the travel agency will cover all related bank transfer fees.

  . Cancelling between 15 and 28 days before departure : 85% refund of the total tour fee 
  . Cancelling between 8 and 14 days before departure : 70% refund of the total tour fee
  . Cancelling between 5 and 7 days before departure : 50% refund of the total tour fee 
  . Cancelling between 3 and 4 days before departure : 30% refund of the total tour fee 
  . Cancelling less than 3 days before departure : No Refund
